Friday 7/31 Laurel Families will be going to Slick City Action Park from 5:45-7:30. Slick City is a large indoor playground full of slides of all sizes for people of all ages. The cost is $15 per person, which includes the special Slick City socks that are required to be worn by all sliders. Parents of all LYF students (grades 6-12) are encouraged to stay and visit while students play, or to purchase a ticket and enjoy the slides themselves. For kids going into the 5th grade or younger, at least one parent is required to stay for the duration of the event. Anyone who is staying but not playing does not need to pay. Put simply...you aren't allowed to drop off your child and leave unless they're in the youth group....but we hope all parents stay and play!
